12.2.2024 – Multiple overall and group victories from Finnish winter rallyes for Michelin!

59th Arctic Lapland rally was driven in first weekend of February 2024. In highly appreciated 12 special stages and 200 special stage kilometres rally delivered overall as well as three group victories for Michelin rally drivers.

After fierce competition the rally was won by season 2022 Finnish Rally Champion Mikko Heikkilä, who also delivered first-ever overall victory for new Toyota Yaris Rally2. Furthermore Tuukka Kauppinen collect victory in SM3-group and Ville Vatanen in SM4-group. Also in SM2 Jooa Iivari was in excellent speed and even he lost the victory just by 0,8 seconds, Michelin was very happy for the performance.

A week before Arctic Lapland rally the opening round of F-Cup rally series was driven in region ja Jämsä. The rally was won by Michelin driver Joonas Lindroos. Furthermore a week later Arctic Lapland Rally the opening round of Finnish Rallysprint series was driven in region of Laukaa. Fastest 2WD driver in the event was Michelin driver Mika Lemmetti.
